This is the spot to catch up on our latest news and events to mark on your calendars.
Is there any news you would like to share with our classmates? Were you named salesman, teacher or realtor of the year? Or are you celebrating 43 years (or 1 year) of marriage. Or are you retiring to Rangiroa to raise rare orchids? Send your good news to Patti ( psimmons@nwlink.com)

Our 50th Year Reunion will be celebrated on Saturday, June 27th, 2015 at 6PM in the Atrium of The Embassy Suites Hotel in Eastgate, Bellevue, Washington.
It will be a wonderful evening of sweet reminiscing and friendly camaraderie just a short distance from our old Alma Mater.
Several additional events for the weekend, Friday evening and Sunday are being planned.
We have re-enlisted the services of Reunions With Class who did such a good job facilitating our 40th year reunion at the same venue.
Go to www.reunionswithclass.com to get your classmember ID number, sign in and find out what's going to happen and when.
You don't want to miss a thing! THIS IS THE BIG ONE Folks! It only happens once in a lifetime, right?

Will be the last Friday in June this year, the day before our  50th reunion at Lake Wilderness Golf Course, Maple Valley. Contact  Jim Binder at jbb@propelineinsurance.com or call 206-676-4204 for info on how to participate or lend your support to this worthy foundation that provides 3 sizeable, yearly, scholarships for both male and female local high school athletes.
Our classmate Scott Rhoads and his wife Marit Thomas (also SHS'65) were killed in the 1996 crash of TWA flight 800 off the coast of Long Island. Marit, a TWA attendant, was working on the Paris bound flight. They were going to take a quick 3 day holiday in Paris before school started. Scott was the varsity wrestling coach at Newport High for 15 years.
At the time of his death, he was also the football team's linebacker coach and the girl's varsity softball coach. Scott was also very active in local Little League and youth football associations over the years.
A group of Scott's friends and his daughter and son have established a foundation to help local graduating seniors with college tuition. The goal of the Rhoads foundation is to increase the number and amount of scholarships awarded each year. Proceeds from this golf tournament are managed to establish an endowment fund to perpetuate Scott's memory.

WE WANT YOU ... to participate in any way that you can for this worthy cause,
and to keep alive Scott's passion for helping kids fulfill their athletic dreams.
